make so with what you got for now.. and when your finished then fix it (call the retailer) and get you money back and buy from from a known area where you trust. or even take the matter further topolice and for selling you a fake.

the only thing you can do is keep your head right now. blowing up is'nt going to get your camera. follow through. it's quite likely an honest mistake. just get a refund. worst case scenario?, report the retailer and it'll bring bad press for them. but you have to keep your head about it. good luck

I am surprized that it took 3 hours for you to figure out that your Nikon D700 is not a D700 or a Nikon and it's actually a Sony A200.

I read both your questions. Earlier your 'Nikon' had the battery missing and strangely now the whole camera is changed.

Hopefully, you can get your money back and not have to deal with those guys again. If you used a credit card, credit card companies have policies that protect the consumer (you). If you do get a replacement from the store you bought the camera from, open the box in the store and be sure that you have the right product. You need to be sure that the camera you get is for the U.S. market or you may have problems with warranty repair. If the first two digits of the serial number start with 30, good chance it's for the U.S. market. If not, then you need to call Nikon and see if it's gray market, or not. Also, look at item 8 on Nikon's web site:
http://www.nikonrebates.com/Pages/FAQ.html
Be sure you have a warranty that applies to your situation.

What you experienced was bait and switch, not gray market.

If you deal with B&H or Adorama, they are trusted dealers.
